Three PC members to be sacked over corruption charges

Serving in the health sector is more than just another duty, it’s a noble obligation that has to be carried out with humane affection, says the Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena.
Workers employed in every section of the health service should understand this obligation and act accordingly, the Minister said during a function to award hospital substitute sanitary laborers with appointment letters today (December 12).
Additionally Maithripala Sirisena stated that three Provincial Council members have been identified to have taken bribes promising posts as sanitary laborers in Hospitals to several people.
Adequate measure will be taken at the Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) in order to cancel their Provincial Council membership, he expressed.
