Singer Finance IPO oversubscribed on opening day

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Singer Finance (Lanka) Limited was oversubscribed on its opening day, Wednesday, December 15, a stock exchange filing said.

 

The IPO was to raise approximately Rs. 400 million by issuing 26.67 million new shares at Rs. 15 each.

 

The issue will be closed at 4.30 p.m. today (December 15) amidst positive investor and stockbroker sentiments. The basis of allotment will be notified to the CSE in due course.
