Three children drown in lake in Vakarai

Three children, two girls and one boy, between the ages of 10 and 11, have reportedly drowned in a lake in Vakarai, Batticaloa.

All three bodies have reportedly been recovered, police said.

The three children, two aged 10 and the other 11, had reportedly drowned in the Kariappan Kirni Tank in Vakarai.
