CBSL maintain interest rates for fourth month straight

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka announced that it would keep the interest rates unchanged for a fourth consecutive month.
The reverse repurchase rate will be at 9 percent which is the lowest since November 2004 while the repurchase rate will be at 7.25 percent.
The Budget for the year 2011 declared on Nov. 22 introduced tax reforms with reductions in the rates with an ease in foreign-exchange rules.
