Notorious Sri Lankan underworld figures known as “Kehelbaddara Padme” and “Commando Salinda,” who are suspected to be the masterminds behind the assassination of rival gang leader Sanjeewa Kumara Samararatne, alias “Ganemulla Sanjeewa,” have reportedly been arrested in Malaysia today (09).

Sri Lanka Police has officially requested information regarding these arrests from Interpol.

The two underworld figures, Mandinu Padmasiri alias “Kehelbaddara Padme” and “Commando Salinda,” were directly accused of orchestrating the fatal shooting and killing of notorious criminal and drug trafficker “Ganemulla Sanjeewa,” inside the Hulftsdorp Court Complex.

Police investigations revealed that “Kehelbaddara Padme” had directed the attack from Dubai, while “Commando Salinda” had coordinated from Malaysia.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka Police had sought Red Notices through Interpol for the arrest of the two suspects.
