Weligama Sahan arrested at BIA

Sahan Sisi Kalum, also known as Weligama Sahan, an organized criminal, has been taken into custody at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake, police stated.
He was deported from India and arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at the airport.
It has been reported that this individual, known as Weligama Sahan, is the main suspect in two shooting incidents that occurred in Panadura and Kalutara, as well as in the shooting of a person named “Paththe Suranga” in Mattakkuliya.
He is also reported to be a contract killer.
The suspect has been handed over to the Kalutara Range Crime Division for further investigations.
