Several spells of light showers are expected today

The Meteorology Department states that several spells of light showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Northern provinces, and in the Nuwara-Eliya, Kandy, Galle, and Matara districts.

Mainly fair weather will prevail in other areas of the island, the Met. Department said.
