Female driver injured as train hits minivan in Aluthgama

A train travelling from Maradana to Matara has collided with a minivan at a railway crossing in Aluthgama this morning (9).

The accident occurred at a railway crossing in the Seelananda road, near the Aluthgama Railway Station.

It has been reported that the minivan was driven by a woman, who sustained injuries in the collision and has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
