AH1N1 vaccine not expired says Health Ministry

December 24, 2010   09:48 am

The Health Ministry states that certain propaganda is being carried out claiming that the vaccine provided to patients diagnosed with the influenza AH1N1 virus is out-of-date. All such claims are baseless and false the Ministry says in an issued statement.

While the quality of any sort of vaccine or drug lasts until its date of expiry, it’s wrong to state that utilizing vaccines that are close to its expiry date is unsuited the Ministry states.

The Ministry of Health has decided to provide the concerned vaccine to patients who are in critical condition only.
