The Sri Lankan government’s procedure in regard to the panel of experts, appointed in order to probe alleged human right violations by the country is a wreck, says UNP Parliamentarian Dayasiri Jayasekara.

The same government which kept on criticizing this committee previously has now granted it permission to enter the country, he expressed.

The territorial integrity of the country will not change just because a group of individuals will arrive and carry out investigations. If the relevant issues are discussed in an orderly manner and proceeded then no problems will arise, the MP said at a press briefing today (December 24).
