Shooting incident reported in Wellampitiya

A shooting incident has been reported early this morning (25) at a lodge in the Kittampahuwa area of Wellampitiya.
The shooting reportedly targeted two individuals who were staying at the lodge.
According to the police, the shooting was carried out by unidentified gunmen who arrived on a motorcycle with a pistol-type firearm.
However, there have been no reports of any fatalities or injuries from the shooting, the police added.
