Vehicle registration fees to increase from January

The government will increase motor vehicle registration fees from January as part of the proposal approved by the parliament in the 2011 budget, Motor Traffic Commissioner General, D.B.L. Dharmapriya said.
An
increase of Rs.500 for motorbikes and Rs.3000 for cars will be implemented from
the beginning of the year he further stated.
