Man hacked to death in Horana

A man has been assaulted and murdered in Kebellegoda, Horana, police stated.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident occurred following an argument that escalated while the victim was consuming alcohol at a neighboring house.
It is reported that the resident of that house assaulted the victim with a weapon, resulting in his death.
The deceased has been identified as a 66-year-old resident of Horana.
Horana Police are conducting further investigations in order to apprehend the suspect.
