Derailment disrupts train services on Kelani Valley line

The Department of Railways stated that a train travelling from Colombo to Avissawella has derailed between Puwakpitiya and Avissawella railway stations this evening (8).
Consequently, train services on the Kelani Valley Line have been restricted to Kosgama only, the department announced.
