Shooting incident reported in Ambalangoda

Two individuals on a motorcycle have reportedly opened fire at several persons travelling in a three-wheeler on Heenatiya Road in Ambalangoda.
One individual was injured in the incident and has been admitted to the Balapitiya Hospital for treatment.
The shooting took place while the injured person was returning from the Elpitiya Magistrate’s Court.
The victim has been identified as the main suspect in the murder of an under-19 cricketer, according to police.
