The Government categorically denied media rumours of a proposed ban on miniskirts or dress codes for Sri Lankans visiting religious or cultural sites in the country.

 

According to government media, the reports regarding this ban were completely false while the government stated that these mischievous ideas were propagated with ulterior motives.
