35-year-old arrested for aiding and abetting shooting in Dehiwala

A suspect has been arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting a shooting reported in Dehiwala on July 24, police stated.
The Mount Lavinia Divisional Crime Investigation Unit arrested the suspect along the Malwatta Road in Dehiwala for allegedly providing a firearm and ammunition to the shooter.
The suspect is a 35-year-old resident of Dehiwala.
The Mount Lavinia Divisional Crime Investigation Unit is conducting further investigations.
