Grama Niladharis warn of island-wide strike over allowance issue

The Sri Lanka Grama Niladhari Officers’ Association has announced that it will launch an island-wide strike if the proposed budget fails to allocate the allowances due to them.
 
Speaking at a media briefing held today (08), the Association’s General Secretary, Mr. Jagath Chandralal, made this statement.
