Several spill gates of Rajanganaya and Angamuwa tanks opened

The Director of Water Management, Eng. H.M.P.S.D. Herath, has reported that the Rajanganaya and Angamuwa reservoirs are currently open due to heavy rainfall in the region.

At Rajanganaya Tank, all six spill gates have been opened by six feet, resulting in a total discharge of 8,352 cubic feet per second (cusecs).

At Angamuwa Tank, two gates have been opened by four feet, with a total discharge of 2,442 cusecs.
