Bad weather restricts President’s flood assessment

President Mahinda Rajapakse was forced to hold back his trip to the flood affected areas due to the prevailing weather conditions in Polonnaruwa, the Government Information Department reported a short while ago.

 

The President left Colombo early this morning by air to visit the flood affected areas and assess the situation in order to begin the distribution of relief goods to the affected families.
