New drug pricing formula passed in Parliament

The pricing formula introduced for pharmaceutical drugs was passed in Parliament today (21).
Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, stated that under the new regulations, a maximum price limit will be introduced for each category of pharmaceutical drugs.
Meanwhile, the Health Minister also assured that there will be no change to the name or colour of the ‘Suwaseriya’ Ambulance Service.
