If Sarath Fonseka is released then all the flooding, the spread of diseases and viruses in the country will end, says United National Party MP Dayasiri Jayasekara. This divine curse that has befallen the government will last only until Fonseka is imprisoned, he pointed out.

“I think if the former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka is released tomorrow, then all these people will be able to live peacefully” he expressed at a press briefing today (January 14).

The Parliamentarian stated that the UNP Working Committee had yesterday passed a proposal and according to the proposal an immediate program will be implemented and party supporters will be informed, donations in money and provisions will be collected in order to aid the flood-affected people in the country.
