Train crashes into car at railway crossing between Wanawasala and Kelaniya

A train crashed into a car at a railway crossing between Wanawasala and Kelaniya stations this evening (05).
The driver of the car has sustained injuries in the incident.
The injured person has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
Due to the accident involving a Polgahawela bound train, rail services along the main line have been disrupted, Sri Lanka Railways said.
