Govt. amplifying situation to hide inability - JVP

The JVP accuses that the government is making exaggerated statements regarding the calamities caused by the recent inclement weather conditions. The government is attempting to falsely depict a massive disaster aimed to cover-up its inability, MP Anura Kumara Disanayake said.
Speaking during a press briefing today (January 16) the Parliamentarian asserted that he strongly refutes the statements made by certain Ministers that 200 reservoirs have been destroyed as a result of the prevailed disaster situation.
