Gold prices in Sri Lanka drop by Rs. 10,000 today

The price of gold in Sri Lanka has decreased by Rs. 10,000 compared to yesterday (14).

Accordingly, the price of a 22-carat gold sovereign at the Colombo Pettah gold market this morning (15) has dropped to Rs. 305,200, down from Rs. 315,500 yesterday.

Meanwhile, the price of a 24-carat gold sovereign, which stood at Rs. 340,000 yesterday, has fallen to Rs. 330,000 today, according to traders at the Pettah gold market.
