UN representative to visit Sri Lanka for flood assessment today

The Deputy Coordinator of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the UN, Catherin Bragg is due to visit Sri Lanka today in order to assess what relief measures should be taken regarding the flood victims in the country.

 

The three day visit will include a tour of the flood affected areas in the North and East and meetings with top government officials and relief organizations working in those areas.
