The Tamil National Liberation Alliance (TNLA) says that it will join Vickramabahu Karunaratne’s party the Left Liberation Front (LLF) and contest the election under the Nava Sama Samaja Party (New Social Equality Party).
Talks with the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) to contest the Local Government election together have failed, TNLA General Secretary M.K. Sivajilingam stated.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Left Liberation Front for the general election is still valid, he pointed out.
Therefore the Tamil National Liberation Alliance is prepared to contest in every district of the North and Eastern Provinces under the ‘Table’ symbol, the former TNA Parliamentarian told Ada Derana.
