Major landslide strikes Welimada; Two bodies recovered

A major landslide has occurred near Keppetipola Police Station in Welimada, resulting in the closure of the Welimada–Nuwara Eliya road.
The Army and Police are conducting search and recovery operations at the site.
Two bodies have been recovered so far, while efforts continue to locate others who may be affected, said Ada Derana reporter.
