Buildings in Peradeniya along Mahaweli River banks at risk of collapsing

With the decline in water levels of the Mahaweli River in Peradeniya and Gannoruwa, information has been reported indicating a risk of landslides affecting numerous buildings along the riverbanks.

Residents living in these houses and buildings have been instructed to evacuate immediately.
