Colombo–Kandy Main road closed near Yakkala for 15 hours

The Colombo–Kandy main road will be closed from the Yakkala area for the next 15 hours, the Disaster Management Centre stated.
The road has caved in near the Yakkala Ayurveda area, and due to the risk of collapse, it has been temporarily closed.
Therefore, motorists using the Colombo–Kandy main road have been advised to use alternative routes at Yakkala.
