21 foreigners stranded in Nuwara Eliya floods rescued by SLAF helicopter

Twenty-one foreigners who were displaced due to the flood situation in the Nuwara Eliya area have been rescued, Ada Derana reporter said.

They were rescued by an MI-17 helicopter of the No. 06 Helicopter Squadron of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) based at Anuradhapura last afternoon (01) and subsequently taken to the SLAF Base in Katunayake.
