SLTB to get down 100 new busses from India

The Ministry of Transport has decided to import 100 new busses from India for the Sri Lanka Transport Board. According to the Chairman of CTB, M.D. Bandusena an order has already been placed for the busses, which costs almost Rs. 4 million each.


The total cost of all 100 busses is scheduled to be paid with the revenue of the Sri Lanka Transport Board while the busses will be used for long distance travel only, Mr. Bandusena further revealed.
