Sri Lanka records USD 7.19B remittances in first 11 months of 2025

Sri Lanka recorded USD 673.4 million in workers’ remittances in November 2025, according to data released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).

Cumulative inflows from January to November 2025 reached USD 7.19 billion, marking a 20.7% increase year-on-year compared to the same period in 2024.
