Inginimitiya Reservoir spill gates to be opened – Irrigation Dept.

The Irrigation Department announces that it is planned to release 1,000 cubic feet of water per second from the Inginimitiya reservoir at around 7.30 a.m. today (16).
Accordingly, the Director of Irrigation has advised residents in low-lying areas of the reservoir to remain vigilant and exercise caution.
