Clash at Open Uni, six arrested

Six suspects have been arrested in regard to a clash that had occurred between two student fractions at the Open University of Sri Lanka in Nawala, Nugegoda yesterday (January 30).


The Mirihana Police said that the suspects would be presented before the Gangodawila Magistrate’s Court today.


Three persons who were injured from the clash have been discharged from the Kalubowila Hospital after receiving treatment.
