The first ODI match between Sri Lanka and West Indies has been officially called off due to bad weather conditions. West Indies managed to score 245/5 at the end of their allotted 50 overs earlier today.

West Indies captain Darren Sammy won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka at Sinhalese Sports Club.

The next ODI match of the three match series will also be played at SSC on February 03.
