Colombo stock market posts record trading day

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has posted a record trading day as daily turnover crossed Rs. 12.32 billion on Thursday (Jan. 08).
The All Share Price Index (ASPI) jumped by 233.28 points (1.00%) to close at 23,527.13 while the S&P SL20 gained 94.18 points (1.48%) to reach 6,458.03 at the close of today’s trading.
