Minor earth tremor reported in Ududumbara

A minor earth tremor measuring 2.2 on the Richter Scale has been reported in the Ududumbara area in Kandy at 5.05 p.m. today (08). 

However, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) has advised the public not to panic, as it was a minor tremor.
