Imported milk powder prices to be reduced

Powdered milk importers have agreed to reduce the price of milk powder packets with effect from January 16, the Minister of Trade Wasantha Samarasinghe said.
He said that following a discussion, importers agreed to reduce the price of a 400g pack of milk powder by Rs. 50 and a 01 kg pack by Rs. 125.
