Private Medical Act to be amended

The Health Ministry is to amend the Private Medical Institutions Act under direct orders from the Minister. Therefore a special committee appointed by the Minister of Health will study the manner in which the act should be amended and then present recommendations.


The 12 member committee consists of experts in the fields of law and medicine.


The group of individuals will study the present Private Medical Institutions Act and then devise an appropriate method in order to amend the act to better suit the public.
