Showers expected in several areas after 2pm today

Showers or thundershowers are likely at a few places in the Southern province and in the Ratnapura and Monaragala districts after 2.00 p.m. today (26), the Department of Meteorology stated.
A few showers may occur in the coastal areas of the Western Province during the morning.
Mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island, the Met. Department added.
Meanwhile, misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western, Northwestern and North-central provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Monaragala, Mannar and Vavuniya districts during the early hours of the morning.
