27-year-old arrested at BIA with ‘Kush’ cannabis

Officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake have apprehended an individual in possession of ‘Kush’ cannabis.
During the operation, police seized 1.154 kilograms of the narcotics substance from the suspect.
The arrested individual has been identified as a 27-year-old resident of Veyangoda, said police.
The PNB has initiated further investigations into the incident.
