Iran’s Golestan Palace sustains damage in US-Israeli strikes

Iran’s UNESCO-listed Golestan Palace in Tehran has sustained damage in US-Israeli air strikes, the country’s cultural heritage minister said.

Visiting the site, Minister Reza Salehi-Amiri said Tehran will submit a formal report to UNESCO, Caliber.Az reports per Iran International.

He noted that damage to the complex was an attack not only on a building but on ‘‘Iran’s cultural and national identity.’‘
