Govt’s promises got women pregnant - JVP

Women got pregnant banking on government’s promise of relief for pregnant mothers, JVP MP Sunil Handunneththi said today. He added that people had thought it would be some relief from the escalating costs to get the relief package promised for pregnant mothers.
The Government promised Rs. 200 for milk, and that a relief package would also be given, Handunnetti claimed. He stated that it was time for the government to deliver the promise.
