The National Building and Research Organization (NBRO) is conducting studies on four Districts that have been identified as land-slide prone areas, Director of the NBRO R.M.S. Bandara stated.

While many landslide prone locations have been identified, the NBRO has also notified the surrounding residents to be cautious about any possible threats. Furthermore the NBRO is also conducting research on suitable areas to relocate some families that are under serious threat in these areas.
