Russian Deputy Foreign Minister arrives in Sri Lanka

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko has arrived in the island on an official visit.

Deputy Minister Andrey Rudenko was accompanied by a senior official from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the diplomatic delegation.

They arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) today at 4:20 p.m. on Indian Airlines flight AI-281 from New Delhi, India.

A group including Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation, Janith Ruwan Kodithuwakku and the Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Levan S. Dzhagaryan received the delegation at the VIP lounge of the airport.

The Russian delegation is scheduled to remain in Sri Lanka for five days.
