Three arrested over illegal vehicle possession and forged documents racket

Three individuals have been arrested by the Western Province North Crimes Division for possessing vehicles without valid registration licenses, police stated.
Police stated that the arrests were made during an investigation into a suspect involved in a vehicle trafficking operation using forged documents.
The suspects were apprehended in Meegahawatta and Kandana.
During the operation, officials had seized three cars, two jeeps, a lorry and a motorcycle in their possession.
The arrested individuals, aged 21, 39, and 44, are residents of Kandana and Meegahawatta, police said.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Western Province North Crimes Division.
