Five fishermen captured by Pirates return home

Five fishermen who were captured by Somali Pirates on February 22 returned to the island today (February 25) at 3.30 a.m. after being held by the pirates for two and a half hours and being stripped of all communication equipment.

 

The five fishermen set out on their voyage on the vessel named ‘Ocean 4’ from Beruwala in January before being captured and held by the pirates in February.
