President to announce economic relief package in Parliament today

The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval for a new economic relief package introduced by the Government for groups affected by the Middle East crisis.
Accordingly, the Leader of the House, Minister Bimal Rathnayake, informed Parliament today (07) that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to arrive in Parliament this afternoon to present the proposed relief package.
