Ireland registered a three-wicket victory over England in the World Cup 2011 Group B match played in Bangalore a short while ago. Ireland 329 for 7 (K O’Brien 113) beat England 327 for 8 by three wickets.

Chasing a World Cup record of 328 runs to beat their rivals England, Ireland’s Kevin O’Brien scored an incredible 50-ball century, enabling Ireland towards an unbelievable three-wicket victory in Bangalore.

The Irish seemed lost at 113 for 5 at the halfway mark, before Kevin O’Brien set on the innings of his life and guided the Irish towards the much needed victory.
